This is a decorative jar that hasn't been used, there are a few tiny scratches, I can also see two spots where sticky tape has been sitting. Being hand carved there is a slight wobble.

Crafted with an eye for detail, this Kisi carved canister boasts a charming elephant design that adds a touch of whimsy to your kitchen or bathroom.

I believe this is made from soapstone from Kenya, this is based on the feel of the canister and the attached label.
